I've been seeing some really lovely succulent displays around the blogosphere lately. Terrariums, tea tins, and even fine china. I love them all. If you're a thrift store junkie like I am you may acquire a lot of miscellaneous dishes. And really, they're just too pretty to keep behind the cupboard doors.
I bought this little egg cup at an estate sale awhile back. I was racking my brain trying to come up with a purpose for them (besides being cute). And...a-ha!
If you want to make your own little planters for succulents it's a good idea to buy some Perlite and soil for cacti and succulents. They may be easy to care for but, drainage is key.

Those would make some great gifts and succulents are eco-friendly so even better.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I often see great mugs but leave them behind because really, who needs more mugs? Thanks for the idea!
